Always such a great place to stop in. I saw on my email they had PEI mussels so stopped in today. Braised them with garlic and red pepper flakes. Added some white wine and butter. Finished with fresh parsley. Served them over linguini. So tender and juicy and briny.

Great local butcher shop for high quality meat! So glad we found them. We bought an assortment of steaks and scallops for a poolside picnic to treat our hosts and everyone was impressed with the quality and quantity. My son purchased a dry aged ribeye and said it's the best steak he's ever had, much less cooked, and he's had some pretty fancy expensive steak. 😄 We will definitely make it a point to shop here whenever we are in town. 👍

I love visiting the Chop Shop! It feels like a time machine back to an era when butchers knew and cared about their product and were passionate to share their knowledge with lay people like me. We've tried it all - the aged burgers are a fav, along with the bacon! Additionally, it's oddly satisfying how often I forgot something for a recipe and they have it there!
